Prima Alam is a social researcher with experience in public health and development. She is currently completing her PhD at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Her main research interests include health inequalities, gender, sexual and reproductive health.
She is Founder-Director of Research & Development Associates, a UK-based enterprise which aims to encourage youth engagement in health research through capacity building activities and training.
Prima has an undergraduate degree from the London School of Economics, a postgraduate degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China as well as an MSc in Sexual and Reproductive Health Research from LSHTM.
