Mukhles Alam was born into a business family in Bangladesh. After finishing his Masters in Economics from The University of Dhaka he joined his father’s Raw Jute Export business and soon expanded to international recruitment, airline, general sales agent and freight forwarding. He has been involved in the aviation industry since 1984. He was a shareholder/partner of ABC Air Limited which was the GSA for Korean Airlines and Emirates Airlines in Bangladesh till 2000. He established Aerolex UK Limited in the UK in 1992, which was the PSA of both Emirates and Bangladesh Biman for the sub-continental market. He was the Managing Director of Wilson Logistics which later became GeoDis Wilson in Bangladesh from 1999-2011. He is currently also the CEO of Hellenic Sourcing Hong Kong Limited which is a Swedish-Bangladeshi joint venture garments buying house with offices in Bangladesh, China, India and Sweden.
